Montgenévre, France
At 4:30 from Paris by train and 1,860 m above sea level, is extended the Montgenèvre Golf Course.
A 9-hole course (Par 36) running between larch woods, pine forests and water hazards. A mountain golf, very technical, which requires a good dose of strategy and a good short game and offers a unique atmosphere. The 9 holes of Montgenèvre (France) and the 9 holes of Clavière Golf (Italy) form an 18-hole sanctioned golf course (except during competition and for 3 weeks in August).
Created in 1989, this cross-border golf course, unique in Europe, has a practice of 25 places, a putting green and a green approach. On the other hand, Montgenèvre is labeled “Family + Mountain”, in this framework a school for young golfers was created. So family, children, beginners, everyone can try it.
The Leadbetter Academy of Montgenèvre, led by Head Pro Nicolas Armand and Emmanuelle Amadieu, is open from June to September.
