Roger’s professional career started in 1974 as the Assistant Professional at Sandiway GC in Cheshire. In the following years, Roger competed in several European Tour events until 1978 when he was appointed Head Professional at Sandiway GC. His ambition was to become a specialist junior coach for all ages from 3-17 years and was appointed the County Junior Team Coach. In 2000 he was the Founder of The European Junior Tour supported by Tommy Fleetwood and Tyrell Hatton as 8 year old competitors. He also wrote and published a Kids Fun Golf Etiquette book endorsed by Lee Westwood.
